Easy. They shoot trap with an OU. They target shoot with a bolt rifle to prepare for deer season. They hunt with their rifle and shotgun. They own a revolver (or maybe a Glock) that they keep on the bedside table. If its the latter they dont think they would ever need to fire more than 1 or 2 bullets at an intruder so the high cap mag ban wouldnt affect them.

They dont see a need for Modern Sporting Rifles so therefore have no trouble with them going away.

They dont carry their handgun, so they dont see a problem with letting the cops protect everyone else too, just like he ignorantly relies on the cops for his safety.

As long as the gun laws dont affect their ability to hunt or target shoot on the weekends, they are fine. Pass more laws that only impact the rest of us.

"... And when they came for me there was no one left." describes them perfectly.

Sadly... The particular forum I found had a picture on their main page of what I assume were members at a range with ARs and about 15 other guns with at least foregrips on them.

A friend of mine who runs a gun shop told me today that 9mm ammo is about as scarce as hens teeth right now.
I went looking and found pretty much only the high-dollar, self-defense ammo available.
All of the range ammo (FMJ) is "out-of-stock" most everywhere.

    People are just plain nuts!

I have friends (acquaintances) that are Libs and gun owners. They swear no one is coming for our guns. I mention the current crop of gun grabbing socialists and they just stare at me blank eyed. They are seriously lost.

You have to wonder if any of them were ever teenagers...

"I swear, I'll stay over your clothes... we can just snuggle..."

Hilariously, the end result will end up the same in both cases. Somebody's gonna get ****ed.

In other words, the stuff we'd actually want to buy is still around. I've got plenty of crappy FMJ to plink, but I should renew my carry ammo as it's getting a bit elderly. Newbs.

Yeah, I've seen those too. To me, how could one be a Liberal Democrat, but have their own shooting group? That would be like having a German Jew organization, back in 1930's Germany, working to get Hitler into power. I don't get those groups.

Fashion. Its cool to be a democrat and folks get **** on for being openly conservative. Takes balls to say "Im a Republican" out loud in a lot of places these days. Thats my guess.

Just for grins, I checked SGAmmo and indeed - no FMJ except for subsonic. All the rest is defensive ammo (and the selection seems to be decent).

Do you have to log in now? I looked about this time yesterday for a friend who just realized buying by the case is smarter, and I couldnt get ANYTHING to list.

Shared their link with someone from work this morning who was looking.

Checked to see their shipping delay. A few days ago, it was three days. This morning, it said up to two weeks.

I just checked again a few minutes ago.

They have ave stopped accepting new orders until further notice.

I didn't have to. I normally don't unless I'm planning on buying something though. I saw the 2 week delay, but now I see Lex Concord is saying no more new orders. I'm good on ammo of all calibers though. I'm going to be having to have my electrical service upgraded soon, so I spent part of yesterday clearing out the closet where my panel is, as well as the closet shelf where my attic access is and it started becoming apparent that I may have a hoarding problem. And that was only a tiny portion of my supply. :):

I guess I haven't paid attention, people are panic buying guns and ammo because of coronavirus lol?!

There was a very impressive line at the Greenwood Rural King gun counter Sunday morning about 9:30. My brother told me the Noblesville Cabelas was out of ammo. I just loaded the last of my 9mm bullets but I've still got 1K primers and way more than that brass. I guess I should order some bullets. It was worth going to Meijer this afternoon just to watch the circus. I don't know how it happened but there was actually a couple with an 8-pack of TP in their cart.

    Edit: Bullets ordered. :D
