    ... ok yeah, not happening. With a stock weight recoil spring on my G22 and the hammer down it hardly moves at all, not enough to reset the trigger, and def not enough to chamber a round (or lock open on an empty mag). With the trigger already reset, but an empty chamber I can get it back a little further, but still not enough to do anything.

    I think I'll just stick with racking it off my belt.

    I am thinking that in a situation where I would be forced to use my firearm...

    This would not be that practical under stress, but it is neat....

    Maybe if one of my arms was damaged and it was the only choice...

    haha yeah it is neat, but it is never the only option. You can always rack the sights off your belt or boot. I wonder if I could get a lighter spring weight to make it work... maybe some more practice tonight haha
