    Nothing really new.
They want to disquise the language.
    Downplay the implications.
Blame the NRA's power, instead of noticing the NRA has no power. Its members do, with their vote.
Everyone needs to write their elected officials. Let them know a vote for an AWB, is a vote for their unemployment.

I am going to correct this statement:

    "
Any movement starts with its core legislative agenda. In this case, that means:

-- Banning all assault weapons and high-capacity magazines for everyone except the military.
Assault Weapons have been restricted since the Hughes Amendment
-- Requiring instant background checks on all gun purchases, including those at gun shows and online.
We already have background checks at gun shows, online purchases have to go through FFL
-- Providing law enforcement full access to all state and local databases on felons and the mentally ill.
LEO should already have a list of Felons....Mentally Ill..... yeah good luck
-- Making illegal gun trafficking a felony."
Statement is so stupid it makes stupid look smart
