Generally not a good idea to throw a punch when the other guy has got a gun but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. The good guy in this case looks like he's got more than enough muscle to authoritatively back up a smack to the face. The bad guy looks like hamburger-face right now.

If you watch his stance he comes off his back foot and steps right through the idiot dirt bags head. He had so much forward momentum that he fell on top of the du%&)$S.
People who just stick out a jab in those situations do not deliver a knockout force. He went through the head. Great sucker punch.

Noboby got hurt (well the BG got hurt a bit ) or killed, the bad guy is in jail.
How can you think he didn't do the right thing?
If more people were willing to fight back crime, instead of being a victim, like this brave man did we would have much less crime.

Maybe you meant that the right thing would have been a hook plus knee to the groin at the same time, followed by an elbow to the face, idk, I think he did quite good with his punch.
