Online Hunter's education

I have been hunting the last 2-3 years with a youth/apprentice license because I was under 18. Now that I am 18 and I went online to purchase my license I need to take a hunters education course. I never took one before because I had friends who had hunted all their lives teach me the basics and safety, but now that I have been hunting, I have to take a class.

I did some research online and it looks like I can take it online at my.Hunter-Ed.com: Get Your Hunting Certification with the Indiana Course

Do anyone know if this covers me? I read that in some states you need to take a physical test, but Indiana is just a written test. So if that is true, then all I need to do is take this online class and I'll be done. Am I right?

Thats correct. I took it this past year, and trust me that test takes forever. You have to spend a certain amount of time on each page before you can go take the test.

This worked for me when I moved to Indiana. Took the course and got my certification number that worked just fine for my license.

The sections do take awhile, but it will save your work so you can work through the entire course at your own pace.
