Okay, I learned a few things doing this today:
    1. Don't use a .45 when the rules say you get half points for coloring outside the lines
    2. Don't shoot for a score at 6:00pm in January when there is hardly any light.
    3. I still don't like fiber optic front sights
    4. Those are some TINY elves from 25 ft

Only had that time available to shoot the target, as I was at a family member's range and am now back in Bloomington.

Gun was a STI Spartan .45 with Harrison Design plain black fixed rear sight
Well enough excuses, I shot a 3 (I didn't count the hit if I wasn't aiming at the elf I hit)

I know I can do better, but I didn't have a lot of time. My stage 2 looks a lot better.

    Is 19 correct?

This was harder than it looked. This was the best of 3

I need more practice.. I scored a 9 but I think 1 is null cause technically I didn't "break" the paper the line was on on one so say an 8. Look at the second from the left in the second row, just nicked his foot. Also I noticed each of the far right shots broke high and left.. A grip and posture issue I believe..

I didn't measure the distance exactly, stepped it off.

I started my shot timer app on my phone, set it at my feet and shot all 12 in less then 20 seconds. I am sure if I had taken more time I would have shot better but I feel the "drill" part is critical.

I thought I would try 4 different handguns. The elves were jumping too much

Ok, I shot it twice. I'll post them in order in case you're supposed to only submit your first try.

I scored this one 12 points

second try, I scored this one 17.

SIG P226 X-FIVE All Around, Wally World Federal 115gr 9mm RN FMJ, Factory serrated black front and rear sights.

EDIT: I may repost this one from a straight up and down angle; that top right corner gnome looks like a "1" in the photo, but it's clean.
