Hi all. I just recently acquired my first 2 weapons in quite a while. Both are .22LR, one pistol and one rifle. So while I have been getting emails from Cheaper Than Dirt, Liberty Guns, OpticsPlanet and Grab-A-Gun I haven't had the need to purchase from any of them.

Who can I trust? And who do I stay away from, and why? Is there anybody that generally has the best prices? Any advice on .22LR ammo would be appreciated as well.

Check out Gunwatcher.com. Some folks like WikiArms, I think it's called. I've bought from KYGunCo, GunBuyer.com, and Anacortes. It pays to shop around because prices will vary.

ammoseek.com is great for finding 22lr ammo, and shows the limits etc.
Shipping charges and small limits kill cheap 22 ammo IMO.
If you call cabelas in Noblesville, they will tell you what they have in stock and you can save the shipping fees.

I like to buy ammo from Target Sports USA - Free Shipping On Bulk Ammo & All Firearms. Sometimes you will catch me buying from someone else if there is a good deal posted in the forums, but usually, I but from the same place. I've never had a problem with them and the price is almost always as good as could be found anywhere else. I recommend them.

Second on ammoseek. Another is wikiarms. Both will show you the cheapest per round.

I've bought once online through budsguns. They actually have an online layaway as well. Only one transaction from there, but it was smooth.

I buy my ammo online from Selway Armory ..Have had good luck with them so far.

Stay away from Cheaper than Dirt. They are price gougers.
