Opening day luck

Saturday was the first time since I moved to Indiana 20+ years ago that I actually got a buck on opening morning. Had a small doe walk by my tree stand at first light 20 yards away. Didn't even know I was there. About 30 min later this guy came straight in to my stand and I dropped him with my 50 cal Triumph muzzle loader at 30 yards.

There truly are deer in Morgan-Monroe State Forrest
