Okay who has the Amps? I need a push to make the jump. Currently have a set of comtac 3s on my helmet, and a set of sordin supreme-xs for when I don’t feel like wearing the helmet. I like the comtacs much more than the Sordins. I would however like to possibly upgrade to the Amps and get rid of both of those. I’d probably get the NFMI earplugs as well as the helmet arms. I have team Wendy helmets and I’d have to buy the adapter but no biggie.

Is sound quality that much better? I know the helmet mounting would be superior with the ability to swap back and forth.

    What say ye?

Just saw this, so I'm late.

    I own:

    MSA Sordin Supreme Pro
    Otto Noizebarrier Micro
Ops Core AMP with NFMI earplugs

    I have experience with

    Comtac 3
    TCI Liberator

Of all of them, the AMPs are my favorites. Very easy to switch between helmet and headband, excellent sound quality, excellent noise reduction, comfortable. They ain't cheap, though.
