School Suspends Student For Wearing Shirt Supporting Troops | Mediaite

I was surprised to not see this posted already, I did a search and found nothing...


A shirt you can buy at Wal-mart supporting our troops. However it has a battlefield cross on it which has a picture of a gun, so he is suspended.

Amazing how far the pendulum is swinging. I hate to jump on the "sue their pants off bandwagon" that inevitably gets fired up about now, but I would like to see the school district to issue a very public apology, not only to the student, but to the men in women in our military.


Sometimes the best punishment is simple humility.

The SCOTUS has already established that behavior can be made a protected class. Sue the school for desrimination.
