Just received some Costa Rican coffee yesterday to try, "Farmer's Blend." I have no idea what that name means!

It was easy in the old days. You get a bunch of barrels and crates in and one is labeled nails, one says axe handles, a crate says shovels, another says wire. It was easy to know what's what.

Farmer's Blend is really nice, though.

Daughter wanted to bounce something off my hat (she has adopted some of my Texas born expressions).
Showed me a pic of a young beauty at the Humaine Society. Mix breed, male, but looks like a quater size husky almost.

I have almost always had more than one dog. They seem to do well with a runnin' buddy.
I agreed to go today and have a look at him.

Trouble is she works and gets off today a couple of hours after the place opens on Sunday. Likelihood of a heart stealing 20 lb, one year old lasting an hour is not good!

He always has some vocalization to add when it's cold. We were all spoiled last week.

Last dog we had was like that. Collie/Dachshund mix, long hair. Loved the cold!
Watching him romp and twist in the snow made my day.

Ruthie's the opposite of most dogs. She'll stay out when it's cold, but in the summer she wants to stay inside in the AC.
