    He is an advocate of the cotton web sling where you detach at the bottom and loop the bicep. Of course my Viking tactical sling wasn't that. Reading online some of shooter of service rifle matches recommend the leather one... so I dunno

    If you’re shooting with a sling for support, the cotton USGI sling is what I’d recommend too. And they’re super cheap. Most other slings aren’t really for supported shooting positions. :dunno:

    I have other slings that I use for just holding the rifle though too. Or the one for home defense, doesn’t need a loop sling either

    Sling prices are all over the place on those gi web slings. i ordered a couple more from appleseed as they were cheaper than the other places i found. now this morning i found that the CMP sells them even cheaper...

    There is a State police guy from over by Breman that has o range on Mayflower by the by-pass who teaches pistol and AR classes.
    I took the AR class, the church I used to go to sent me and another guy. Was a good class.
    Hoosier something... Id have to go look
