They look much better in person. A camera doesn't capture the depth, or color blends and over laps.

Still look awesome. Every piece!

I'm also a photographer, so I get that "pics don't lie."
Yeah, that's only the first lie.

My job was making the camera tell a white lie that I could sell, mostly with people and their places or toys, though.

I can't get the camera to show what my eye's see. The colors never match what I see.

So true.
And it never will. Getting close involves trying to control many variables. Too many!

Eyes are millions of times better than any camera, though. Like looking at a pic and looking at a person. Cameras can only capture vague approximations.

You have to know the 'color' of the light

I've purchased a light tent and daylight bulbs (5500K), I've used fluorescent bulbs with the setting, incandescent, and it never works. I've had people explain the settings, and it never works. The closest I get, is to use auto settings and sunlight. That's the closest I can ever get.
Maybe the camera sees the actual colors, and my eyes are wrong.
