OSUT 257: Spring is Finally Here. Bring on the Outdoor Fun and Grilling Season!

We drink out of the big blue cans daily, but Sundays are our splurge days and we can sit together for a cup.

I use some "fancy" imported beans and grind fresh on Sunday.
Today she chose Hawaiian blend.
Very smooth!

I have my cup and a half to two cups and Susan gets the rest. She'll nurse her half pot for 2 or 3 hours.

I try to pre-make a pot of coffee the night before so just flip the start button. This sometimes is deceiving if you forgot to prepare pre sleep.

I had been pretty good at doing that, but not today

We got rain overnight. My driveway puddle was holding water this morning.

Years ago we tried to use the programmable thing and have it ready when we get up. It just didn’t work out. set it wrong, forget the coffee or the water. I would get up early and wanted the coffee right away…

They put Miss Daisy on a thickened liquid diet and I thought for sure she'd just give up on the coffee and get upset over it being like pudding. Nope. She enjoyed it just the same. By the spoonful!

I just prep mine and hit the switch when I wake up usually. My new one isn’t programmable
