    Sleeves and machines. Bad combination. Seen videos that will curl your hair.
    Yep. Seen some in real life as well.

    I'm getting the old Baldor motor ready for paint. I cleaned and stripped it, but so many nooks and crannnies to clean out still.

    End caps on this cast iron beast weigh 14lbs each and the center body is 32lbs. All that before I reset the stators and the armature.

    No bearings or anything weighty anywhere yet.

    Already have a guy offered me $300 bucks for it if I get it running. This thing is in great shape, just needed new everything.
    It's gonna run like new!
    Better, with modern sealed bearing replacements.
