I have some machine toying to do out there and I'd rather not use sleeves.

Coon squirrel and groundhog spray is usually .22 caliber around here.

I'm getting the old Baldor motor ready for paint. I cleaned and stripped it, but so many nooks and crannnies to clean out still.

End caps on this cast iron beast weigh 14lbs each and the center body is 32lbs. All that before I reset the stators and the armature.

No bearings or anything weighty anywhere yet.

Already have a guy offered me $300 bucks for it if I get it running. This thing is in great shape, just needed new everything.
It's gonna run like new!
Better, with modern sealed bearing replacements.

Grandma always used .308 off the back porch. The pie pans came after the fact.
