Well that's the thing. Right before Covid hit, they were in the process of reducing our footprint in the building. Well, they effectively reduced it to nearly zero! But now it's a problem? Pffft!Commercial real estate is taking a beating too. So if they own the building, they need more people to be in the office. More than likely they're trying to justify the office space that they probably no longer need
I saw a piece on WTHR this morning about someplace getting a cricket invasion, but I didn't catch where it was. Searching their website I didn't find it, but saw a couple older stories about it happening in Texas. We always had huge amounts of cicadas in south Texas, but the bugs they had to use grain shovels to clear the school doorways after the security lights burned all night were June bugs (March bugs that far south) and crickets a month later.
I hope we don't have that many cicadas!
Don't you just love it when your knees jerk too far?Well that's the thing. Right before Covid hit, they were in the process of reducing our footprint in the building. Well, they effectively reduced it to nearly zero! But now it's a problem? Pffft!
It is actually a THING with almost Biblical quantities of those two critters almost every year!I saw a piece on WTHR this morning about someplace getting a cricket invasion, but I didn't catch where it was. I think part of what is driving it was some bad publicity back during Covid where some federal employees (in DC, not here) were bragging online about how they weren't doing any work. They were showing pictures of themselves lounging by pools, sitting in bars, etc.. Idiots.Don't you just love it when your knees jerk too far?
