It is actually a THING with almost Biblical quantities of those two critters almost every year!
BTW, forget about thinking of them as quick easy fishing bait.

By the time they are that over crowded on land, the creeks and lakes are already full of them and the fish are getting tired of them.
Worms it is! ... or crank baits, depending on what you're after.

When I went out to mail something for Susan, I noticed that the water in our front yard was gone, so hopefully it will dry out enough for me to mow tomorrow. I know most of the yard will be okay but there's about a 25' wide strip out by the road that is the last to dry.

I like to plant out onion sets at staged intervals.
I still have three bags to set out.

This rain will help with loosening the soil mess we have at our home.

Well that's the thing. Right before Covid hit, they were in the process of reducing our footprint in the building. Well, they effectively reduced it to nearly zero! But now it's a problem? Pffft!
Can’t sell buildings though, some huge office buildings have gone down like 60% in some areas.

Maybe they’re sorta stuck so they might as well use it :dunno:

Doing some recall on the back up cameras, mine hadn’t acted up… I actually don’t even use them. I still turn and look behind me and look in my side view mirrors.
I’ve got a recall on mine for that, but Ford doesn’t have the parts for the Mustangs yet. So I get a letter every 6 months saying “hey, there’s a recall. We can’t fix it yet so just hang tight and we’ll contact you later”
