    At the end of the day if you're looking for root cause I'm pretty confident saying it was the ammo. A non supported chamber is not an issue in and of itself, in this case though I believe it helped expose bad ammo that otherwise would have flown under the radar.

    Thanks. I went thru all the brass from tge range yesterday and figure im better safe than sorry and just pitching it from those reloads. Im not taking a chance with it. I have plenty of known once fired brass to load. Guess only good thing to come out of it is i get to do some upgrades now. Ordered from mcarbo last night. Got the ss feed ramp, trigger kit, buffer, hardened pins, and screws. I really like the accuracy out of the sub2000, so i cant wait to get it up and running again
