P229 caliber x-change kits

I have a P229 in 9mm I have the .22 conversion kit. These work perfectly. I want to know if I can buy the .40 or .357 caliber x change kits to work on my P229? There is some confusion in the literature because it seems that Sig intends the .357/.40 kits to be used on the P229 .22 classic. I hate to sink some money into one of these and not be able to use it.

Anyhow, anyone know about these?

I think it depends on the year of your 229. I think after 2005 might work.
That is when the frames were changed.
