PA Capitol & State Police targeted in shooting described as terror attack

This one hits pretty close to home since it happened in my home town while I'm here with my family visting my parents over Christmas.

This guy decided to target law enforcement over the course of at least three shootings. Thankfully he has **** poor planning and even worse aim. He only managed to hit one officer before being brought down to room temperature by responding officers.

And my mom still asks me why I feel the need to carry a gun.

Why didn't they just call him a "mentally deranged individual with no ties to terrorism" like the Australians just did with their attacker of middle eastern desent?
