    You still need some basic paint skills even using a rattle can.
    Sand it down. Prime/sand again. Tack rag it off. Apply the paint like you care. Do multiple coats and if indeed you do care it will turn out just fine.

    I did the fairings on my Katana back in the day. It’s possible to get good results with the right effort. I may go that rout if I can’t find something in my current budget.

    I painted our USAC midget 2 times using Rustolium products. Once black and then a cool blue. Both were pretty well done but I took my sweet time. Thought I had some pics. Cant find them.
