I prefer pickled pork hocks but those have been almost impossible to find the last few years.

When I was a kid we used to do an occasional summer canoe trip down Sugar Creek from Crawfordsville to I think just past Turkey Run... always stopped at a big flat rock on the outside of a nice bend in the creek and eat lunch. Spam sandwiches--sometimes with mustard. O. M. G. but those were ALWAYS delicious!!!
