Doubtful. There is too much money downtown for it to turn like Detroit did. Large corporations don't move their headquarters on a whim.

Their plan now to shut down O'Hare is to shut down the Kennedy interstate to the airport. They are planning on Labor Day weekend, you know, one of the busiest travel days of the year.

Illinois politicians like Madigan the robber baron, and his merry band of pirates will suck all the life/money they can out of Chicago and any other Illinois financial center, and retire before the SHTF. ****cago/downtown won't plunge into the depths of a Detroit but it will return to it's lawless 70's. The police have had enough.
