I just need to SLOW THE HELL DOWN....

I am always rushing at these things, even when I know I don't have to.

I was reminded of this shooting pop targets at Atterbury. I was shooting a single stack and always running out of ammo at the point in the string where two targets popped up a the same time. Half way through the day, I realized that if I slowed down and made every shot count instead of spraying lead at every target until it dropped, I'd have a couple of rounds left in the magazine when the two targets appeared.

What is the saying? "Slow is smooth; smooth is fast!"

Also practice counting your shots. Eventually, it will become 2nd nature and automatic.
