Pistol Basics 1, The fundamentals of owning and operating a firearm.

Riley Conservation Club (Near Terre Haute, IN)

Pistol Basics 1 is our entry level pistol course. Four hours split between classroom and range. We will shoot approximately 100rds. If you do not currently own a pistol, come and shoot one of ours. Please bring your own ammunition, .22lr, 9mm, .38 special or .45ACP.

Students will learn about: firearms safety, range etiquette, marksmanship fundamentals, grip, stance and much more.

I don't know who is enrolled in this specific class, but we've had several grandmothers in both of basic classes (formerly basic pistol and intermediate pistol). In addtion, several adult sons have joined their mothers in class.

when will you be doing the basic pistol 1 and 2 again? I would like to do some this year once i can get 40 ammo that is. lol

That will depend on demand and when and where we can schedule it. If you get a group together, we can do it.
