I am getting ready to trade my taurus pt111 and accessories for a beretta 9000 .40 caliber and am wanting some input. The trade is going down this Thursday and I am starting to have second guesses. Any opinions?

Has the pt 111 been reliable? how many accessories?

Beretta 9000's are good guns but can be found for $300 Used.
Love mine but its a 9mm.

I almost bought one of the berettas. After holding it I didn't think I would be able to get used to the TINY slide area to rack it. Do you have that problem?

Yes, I use a cross hand slide grip to chamber it. You can tear up your finger tips on the slide serration's the normal way.

Sorry and the Taurus has never had any problems with well over 400 rnds of steel through it and i think 100 rnds of brass and then my 147 gr hollows no problems what so ever.
