Plainfield Walmart has stocked there cabinet full of ammunition. They have plenty of 9mm, .40 and .45 value packs and the normal odds and ends, but of course no .380 or .22lr

Now that this heads up was sent to 5000+ people and ears
    They are ALL out.
gun shop owners and hoarders who own cases and cases of surplus must have came to refill

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Ohhhh purple.:ugh:

Now dont get me wrong here OP the gesture was kind and thoughtful,

But here is how this works,

Words get around on the forums about a new delivery of ammo, at a local retailer.

While Jim is talking about what he read on INGO, at the gun shop, Bobby is listening over the counter as he quickly calls his grandmother or wife to go to that spoken location and purchase all the available 9mm .40 .45 calibers that have been so sparse.

If there is an unexpected limit, Bobby then calls his shootin buddy Tim and his dad to come help get the rest.

Bobby then turns and puts 1500 rds of hard to get bulk 9mm etc, in his full safe, and then turns to INGO to sell the other few bulk packs for 55$ + including shipping.

Meanwhile, and minutes later, Mike gets word of this "ammo" on INGO and travels 23 miles and 13 minutes later to the Walmart and sees that there is nothing on the 4 ft shelf at all, his 9 year old boy stands disappointed as he is getting word from the manager that one of his employees must have sold the Bulk packs minutes after putting it on the shelf.
they walk away as they see the manager shaking his head in disbelief on how the ammo went so quickly.

Or a shop owner had 5 of his employees go to the Walmart and buy up the whole 4 ft section to stock his low inventory.

who knows, but its not there now.

    Anyone else wanna play?
How did this scenario work out if you had to write the story?

So the other option is for everyone to just mindless rove around, moving from Walmart to Walmart, hoping to find some ammo?

People post these finds so that some other INGOers get a chance to find some. Sure it goes quickly, but otherwise you are just shooting in the dark anyway.

Whether or not someone posts on INGO, that ammo will sell fast. At least this way, maybe one of us gets a chance as well. Walmarts aren't super secret locations. They are mega retailers that do tens of millions of dollars of business each year at each location (if not hundreds of millions). Thousands of people shop there each day. El Dorado, the fabled lost city of gold, they ain't.

    :blahblah: Walmart, sales, chances, ElDorado...gold?

Just tellin ya how it is Beo, Its a kind gesture 100%
    but in-effective. It doesn't work.

Yes the other option is to "not mindlessly" roam around, shop smarter, ask the retailers when it comes in "get friendly with em" and look, keep your ears open, and browsers running, but this way is simply not effective, posting to 5000+ people again, just doesn't work.

Its one of the reasons why im sure they posted the sticky..It keeps multiple threads sayin AMMO!! HERE and then minutes and multiple threads later guys writing how and why the retailer sold a months worth of supply in 2 minutes.

    Yep;

This thread is going to be a sticky to help clean up some of the "I saw ammo at Some Ammo Store for a Really Great Price!" threads. If you find ammo somewhere and want to make an announcement to let your fellow INGOers know about it, please post it here.

    Thanks! :)
