Yeah, those grips were pretty slick though. It did not take long for the Gen 2's to come out with the grenade checkering. Of all of the Glocks I like the Gen 2's the best, but would love to add a Gen 1 G17 in this condition to the collection.
To me it is like having an original 1911, Beretta 92, S&W M39, CZ75 or any of the other early semi autos that shaped the handgun culture that we have today.

I'm rocking the Gen2 because I like the grip better as well.
This one has the Ghost 3.5lbs connector and spring kit.

This is my first hand gun, and I love it. Looking forward to many more.

G17 Gen 1. Made in 1986. Still pretty minty inside

First I was like this:bowdown: then I was like this

That's awesome. The full size are just a bit big for my taste, but a Gen 1 ranks right up there with a an RTF with Fish Gills for me. I'd rather have both in a compact size, but I would not turn either one of them away.

Finally got to take the new Kahr out and put some rounds through it this weekend. Fired flawlessly.

I was just about to post a picture of my new CM9 but this will do. I took it out yesterday for the first time and me and 4 friends put close to 200 rounds through it for the "break in period". I shot factory loads for the first 150 and then some reloads after and not one single issue. I love this little pocket pistol! Nice smooth trigger. :yesway:
