PLR 16 / mag well grip?

Anyone ever tried one of these?
Would it make it AOW?

IANAL, but on the page, they post a letter from the BATFE saying it's legal for AR pistols. Assuming that the category that the PLR-16 would fall into...

Oh and my PLR is already a SBR but if it wasn't the addition of the Mako grip alone wouldn't make it illegal
