Question #7.... that goes against what I believed. 8-30-2010 decision.... huh...

Well there it is in black and white, it is legal to install a magpul AFG on a AR15 type pistol.... according to that one inspector, as of that date and it is subject to change at the whim of any one of the tech division guys...

    Hmmm....

Thank you for answering your own question, I would have said it would be considered an SBR. I would have been 'wrong'. :n00b:

Typically, installing a VFG on a pistol would make it an AOW, and subject to a $200 manufacturing tax, correct?

It wouldn't be an SBR because it doesn't have a stock.

That is how I understand it.

You two are probably correct, I was thinking SBR because of the one handed deal.

In any event, according to this guy, it's not an AOW either. :dunno:

Crap is so random with those people, who knows.

I'm satisfied that with this letter, it's be a-ok, at least with a magpul AFG. I'm not sure I'd risk it with any old VFG. :):

This garbage makes me sick. We have an entire forum dedicated to the fact that "Shall not be infringed" means something other than what it says. :xmad:
