If getting "Paid" counts here then I will join in! Been a "Proud Volunteer Firefighter" now since 1974. Presently serving my 8th 3 year term as the Fire Chief which pays $700.00 a year!

Not sure who it was, but not me. I'm too close to retirement to worry about any more training. After 30 years as a firefighter not much left to teach me.

Retired from Law Enforcement 3 years ago after 26 years of service. Was a patrolman for the city police for 6 years and then switched over to the County Sheriff's Office. Worked there as a deputy, detective, chief deputy, and then elected sheriff.
