Colt El Grito in 38 super, #265 of 300.
My customer bought it used and it had not been taken care of.
Some scratches and corrosion, He took it apart and cleaned it up as best as possible but it still didn't look to good. It had scratches in the frame and the polished slide top was scratched up to.

Sooo, might as well custom it up a little.

    It started life like this:

I got it like this, the grips were missing.

The new owner wanted everything either Gold Plate or polished.
I learned you cant Gold plate Aluminum so I had to track down a steel trigger.
Also I replaced the plastic main spring housing with a smooth stainless so it could be polished as well.

Here it is ready to go home:

The barrel was rejeweled as well. that is polish I missed on the top of the slide not scratches.

It actually looks much better than I expected. It is just going to be a display gun.

Not really my style but it does help illustrate the breadth of skills you have.

I live a mile and a half from your shop and I have this old Colt Commander ...
