This has become a side-discussion that I think, if it continues, should continue elsewhere.

So if "Democratic" Socialism is on the upgrade, why don't progressives want Russian collusion

Maybe they think Putin likes Trump and what they really want is socialism, but without the likes of Putin. Maybe they are just a jealous bunch of people and if they cannot have Putin, no one should.......but that never derails their effort to "further" implement their socialist agenda.

My excuse is that it simply burns my britches to see people constantly complain about schools. I have worked in the government, private industry, and schools. People have no concept of just how much harder teachers work than what the average person does. They are so busy that simply going to the bathroom is a challenge, with some days known as "no pee days" due to the schedule. They arrive home utterly exhausted, then spend their evenings grading papers and preparing lessons. They are then accused of having it easy and teaching all manner of nefarious things. It's tiresome. My sarcasm was unwarranted, but that is where it comes from.

I agree with you on that. I've never taught, but I have family members who are teachers, and my daughter is an administrator at a STEM academy. I've worked enough years in the public sector to realize that the public can be a very fickle, uncaring ***** of a boss.

I disagree with the sarcasm part. Sarcasm is always warranted, always.
