I'm beginning to think that "it's communism / socialism" is the right's counter to left's "literally Hitler" - I.e. just a baseless expression.

You're right. Enemy propaganda would have been more appropriate in that case as I can't be sure if the authors are communists or just hate America.

ex 1. "Counterprotesters" aren't ANTIFA terrorists or anything so be sure to not call them that... Lets talk about what the SPLC thinks about TPB though. Let's also pretend it was only TPB in attendance.

ex 2. Call the "OK" symbol a "white power" symbol when they're doing it to troll, because the media 100% invented that BS out of thin air.

I quit skimming at that point when I realized what I had clicked on. If you want to ingest straight cancer directly through your eyes, NPR is a great place to do it.

    ^^ This ^^

Notice how the headline mentions that four people we're stabbed, yet the article completely fails to mention that the stabbing victims were conservatives, including one who is a black woman.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...ervative-activist-bevelyn-beatty-stabbed/amp/

Not only do we not see the usual call for hate crime charges, the article is intentionally written to imply those doing the stabbing we're Proud Boys.

Also, as soon as I read, carrying signs supporting white supremacy, I knew it was going to be people flashing the OK sign. Had people actually had white power signs, there would have been photos in the article.

That is nothing but a propaganda hit piece. But what else is new?

ETA: I did a Google search for "Proud Boys Stabbed" to find the article I linked to above. I went through four pages of search results and could not find a single result linking to a story from a conservative news outlet.

Sorry, I read it as "four people are stabbed", and that's four too many, IMHO; I don't care what side they're on.

You should since it's not generally "our" side doing the stabbing. That puts you in the camp of "about to get stabbed" if you don't start paying attention.

Knife at a gun fight and all of that side, I don't want to get stabbed or shoot anyone.

That's spot on. Just a word to inspire fear. Most people I know who talk bout communism/socialism aren't well versed enough in the political theory to speak intelligently on it, other than, "it's bad." Which, to a degree is generally right, but smacks of limited knowledge.
