No one gives a rat's arse what they think. Their opinions mean about as much as the Girl Scouts, the Indiana Pacers, and the Gay Lumberjacks of America mean to me. Not directing this at you personally Doug, but I always found the concept of politicians having to denounce the actions of random people as being rather silly. Obviously if there is a high profile person or group acting in as a surrogate for them in some way, then maybe. But if we expect politicians to denounce the actions of every jackass in the country, they'd never get anything done.

Maxine Waters told Democrats to scream at Republicans, presumably to intimidate them and make them feel unsafe.

Yeah, it is probably inappropriate to think they would feel any responsibility for the attack in Carlson.

More likely, they are lamenting that Antifa didn't gain entry and beat up his wife.
