Ok guys and gals. I have decided that I need a slightly thinner set of grips for my 1911. I am going to stick with standard thickness but something that is just a bit thinner then the factory Altamont grips. I have decided on the VZ Gatorbacks because they are considered to be the thinnest of the standard sized grips. Plus I want something grippy but not abrasive to wear IWB. I am going to let INGO pick the color for my order since I can not decide for myself. Fun poll, winner is what I will order. I will then post an after picture. What say you INGO?

This is a picture of the gun as it sits right now. I really like the tiger stripe grips but why buy the same color? Then again they look cool.

I voted tiger stripe, but if it were mine, I'd leave it as is. I think it looks great now.

Yep looks good and feels good. But Smith uses very thick grips. They don't fit my Smurf hands and my finger does not hit the trigger in the right spot. Same problem with the RoCo grips on my Pro Series.

Kind of leaning towards the green myself. But the poll will decide. But you have to admit the orange is cool

The Dirty Olive? Popeye's lady love doing porn now? Oh! Grips for the .45, very stylish yet effective looking handgun pictured. I think the Black Desert Sand pulls some of the color down from the slide to the frame giving the weapon an even more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Forgot the bacon option. Sorry I know poll is no longer valid. I don't think pink was an option for the gatorbacks.

I voted Tiger Striped. I'd double check to be sure that they are thinner before ordering a set that might end up duplicating what you have.

I emailed VZ. They gave me the dimensions. According to them this model is considered to be the thinnest as well. I then checked my current grips with a set of calipers.
