    Not sure its vegetarian though, the whole protien could be techincally considered animal I guess...

    Ah yes, that's what I get for lacking that ever so valuable situational awareness thing :ugh:.

    Considering that many fields use cow manure to fertilize the plants that a vegetarian then eats, I don't see that it'd be a problem, there. Protein is protein, once you separate it from its source does it matter at that point if you eat it?

    Personally I go by the one step rule (ie as long as its one step removed from and animal or animal by-product its good. So Eggs == bad, but something like lettus grown on composted eggs shells == ok), but I have a friend who doesn't eat anything that isnt at least 3 steps removed from animals.

    We vegetarians/vegans are an odd lot who can't seem to agree on the rules... Wow, its like im in the ATF :D
