Pop up ads and logging in

I get pop up ads that block a lot of the screen on the first post of a thread. If I log in the pop up ad(s) go away. BUT . . . . . I don't seem to stay logged in for very long (never timed it) before I'm automatically logged out and then I have to log in again.

Is there a way to stay logged in longer or a way to dispense with the pop ups without being logged in ?

I have this problem when I browse from my phone. I get timed out quickly.
