I have a wood cabinet I made for my reloading area. Stores dies, powder, primers, projectiles and gun cleaning supplies.

Shelves. I agree with the principle of a steel cabinet, and some of my primers are in one, but steel containers take up a lot of space and I can store a lot of powder cans on a 1x6 shelf.

I keep a few pounds on a shelf, but most of it is in a water/fire proof type file cabinet. Work next to a storage/maintenance building for NorthShore medical and they're constantly throwing out/giving away quality metal cabinetry, desks, and chairs. Cant beat free storage

Mine all lives on shelves. I made some small shelves properly sized for the 1lb bottles of Alliant and Hodgdon powders that sit on top of my bench for easy access, and the overflow or larger jugs go on a shelf under the bench.

Another for shelves. I just keep it off the ground and factory sealed until I am ready to use it. Never had a problem that way, but I can see the safety side of using a cabinet. Maybe one day...
