Precision/Hunting Rifle Class with INGO's own Phylodog

Sounds like a great time. I would love to learn some proper techniques for shooting my everyday hunting rifle. I am very weak shooting from different positions.

You get to hunt EVERYDAY! Lucky bastage Haven't gotten to go since I moved here from ND 2 years ago... maybe THIS is the year.

Double Dittos! Unfortunately my deer rifle is a .270WIN, not allowed here in IN, as yet. But, I'd think the practical tactical would be the same. Can always learn some things.

I enjoyed the day (every day away from the city is a good one) and would enjoy doing it again. Unfortunately I don't have a venue to host training so I am limited to requests from those with access to a suitable piece of property.

How much distance would you need?

I think 400yds is sufficient for a hunting/practical accuracy course. It would be an extremely rare situation for me to consider a shot longer than that at a game animal.

Not sure how I missed this thread? Great idea for a clinic phylo! Props for stepping up for the request and sharing your knowledge! I'd sure be interested if this happens again. I'll bolo for some property.
