I didn't know that.... this thread delivers.......

I just did some looking "elsewhere" in the interwebz and it said that 1911 mags needed to be slightly modified to work without malfunction.... is this still the case?

Those two stainless Kimber mags and the blued Colt mag in the pic work. Nothing done to them. Wilsons don't. Chips didn't either. Didn't try anything else.

They mentioned trimming off 1/16th of an inch off one (the right I think) feed lips.

I'll do some more checking....

Since you said that, I checked all the rest of them. It's about a one out of three fit. I think I'll just mark the ones that fit and not screw with the rest. I guess I'm lucky they accidentally did without hacking on them, eh?
