She sounds like a really smart lady that has thought this through a bit.
I'm going to watch some more of her videos when I get the chance.
BW you know me,I don't trust anybody and my moral code may be lacking in some areas:D

I do know you well enough to put a lot of trust what you say. I may not do what you say, but I'd trust it as truth.

I have mixed feelings on ThePatriotNurse. There are definitely areas where I think she is wrong, (to put it nicely.) I do think she brings up very good topics of discussion though.

I take her info, just as I do almost any news media or other form of info, under advisement, mix it in with my own thoughts and try to use it accordingly. I don't think she has a real cut and dry "plan" , but her thoughts are definitely worth listening to.

I think she is right. She talks a lot but nothing she says is useless it could just be wrapped up faster. Aka: she is a woman who likes to talk like my mother did :)
I've watched lots of her videos over the coarse of I'm not sure maybe 2 years? (I'm bad with time), and I've neve seen a bad one yet. Plus she knows James Yeager and they're friends so that's another plus 1 in my book!

^^^ My interpretation of her view is that the a-holes usefulness will be short lived in a true long term or reset button type future. Yes you first have to survive to start to rebuild, and the skills of the a-holes will be valuable, but what do you want daily life to be like once the rebuild has started? In my little mind I could envision an immediate survival approach which may be totally different than the rebuilding era.

I'd like to know about what she considers "post-modern thought". Sounds like code language for non-Bible-believin'-just-like-I-do Christians.

    I suspect you're right.

Here are my own humble suggestions:

    • It's for the children.
    • You didn't build that.
    • It won't add a dime to the deficit.
    • We can't wait for Congress.
    • From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.
    • I'm from the government, and I'm here to help you.
Re her #2, wrong signs, if we learn anything from history, it's that we always watch the wrong signs and it's probably a matter of luck only if you accurately see what's coming from where. Being prepared generally should mean you don't need to guess right, since you're mostly ready whatever happens.

A good movie on the general subject of flexibility is "Defiance", which came out a few years back.
