I am wondering if someone can give me a idea what this gun is worth. I am working a trade deal for a model 66 its a stainless, 6 inch barrel, with hougue grips I would estimate this gun at about 85% or so.

If you can get it bought for 300,you are getting a pretty good deal,on the taurus be sure to check the timing and cylinder lock up. from my experience this is the first place i had problems. both guns were bought used before I was educated in what to look for.

Correct. If it locks up tight, and the timing is good, then $300 is a fair price.
I own at least 5 different models of Taurus revolvers, in 4 different calibers. They are good guns, just lack the "polish" in the finish.
    IMHO- a very serviceable sidearm.

    My Taurus .357's are:

    model 607 blued 4" ported barrel 7-shot
    model 605 total titanium 2" barrel 5-shot

And I like them both! I carry the 5-shot, and hunt with the 7-shot

There ARE more, but these are the .357's :D
