Does anyone have intell on primers for sale? I've been lucky and gotten stocked on powder and bullets, but I'm having a tough time getting primers. Any suggestions?

I would suggest that you go to the 1500 & buy there. Odds are you will find what you want at a reasonable $$.

I found some SPP at a shop up by Knox, IN and in Logansport but they didn't have much.
I would suggest calling around today.
You might try McDonalds Guns in Marion and Profire Supply in Indy. I know McDonalds guns had some last week.
The last Indy1500 had several vendors with SPP & SRP's in good supply but don't wait until Sunday to go. Go on Friday.

The Indy Gun club had some small rifle primers when I was there this weekend. i think Bradis 2 and the Outdoorsman had some as well.

Hillside in Roanoke had primers last weekend, thinking they had LP, not sure what else was more interested in pricing and a $46 for 1k I think i can wait to by more. Hopefully that is not the new going rate.

You're in Indy, try Indiana Gun Club. I've picked up a couple bricks of primers from them.

If you're willing to travel, Cabelas is a hit or miss. I stopped in there a couple days a week for 2 weeks to pick up LPP. First day I dropped in I picked up SPP and they had SPP on the shelf when I picked up my LPPs. I'd be willing to pick up and hold some for you if you want to make the drive. Would be cheaper just to eat the $25 hazmat fee though.

The 1500 is probably your best bet. Remember if you're comparing prices, shipping requires hazmat fee ($25 IIRC) so unless you're ordering and loading a TON of primers, include that in your pricing cushion.

Indy Trading Post has primers. $40/1000 I've been buying primers from there about the last six months.

picked up 2k CCI No.400 Small Rifle Primer at Highsmith in G'field @ 40+tx/k. not a super deal but better than my backyard shop INGC's price, which is $44+tx/k. btw, they didn't have any.

Profire hasn't had any primers the last couple of times I was there. They said they're expecting a shipment in the next few weeks.
