Never used one, but in my experience simpler is better when it comes to calls. I've killed more off a Johnny Stewart 6 button call than anything else. That might be because I have one in every vehicle, tackle box, and hunting coat I own, but they get the job done.

Is the Johnny Stewart 6 a remote control call? If so what kind of distance can you get from it? And how is the sound quality?

Yes. But I am a beginner and both outings we were skunked. I think I was changing the call too often instead of letting it run. Other factors played into it as well, but will be out again by the end of the month and will report back. Its also loaded with turkey, deer, dove and other useful calls.
