Private gun range

I was thinking about it the other day. If I was to ever build a house, would it be legal for me to build a underground gun range when building the house, if it was underground I could shoot whatever weapon I wanted to. Does anyone know anyone who has a private gun range in a house?

I know someone that did just that. He built and range off of his basement that runs out under his driveway. No issues but he spent more than a few bucks on a ventaltions system. If you don't know how to get into the range you would never know it is there

I would love to have a set up like that.

I would look into getting a paint spray booth ventilation system, its good enough for them why not gun powder but this is a idea way way in the future. I dont know how the wife would feel about it either lol

That might just work. When this house was built. He spared no expense, which is was out of my league.

I bet you could rent small dozer and bury a shipping container for the frame of it and hook up your ventilation to that.

if it was to happen I was thinking of the distance and you dont think 25 yards is that far but if I was to shipping containers I would need at least one 53 foot trailer and a small one or just two 53 foot ones lol
