Anyone have any experience with the yellow light of death on a ps3? Don't really want to run out and buy a new one and lose all my game saves, hoping someone knows how to repair/fix this.

Had the same thing happen to me a few months ago, I had one of the OG 60 gigs that I bought on launch day give me the yellow light. Of course it was out of warranty, I checked with Sony they gave me the option to fix mine or replace it with a 160 gig. The new one was cheaper If Im not mistaken. Plus I had a game inside and that was sent back along with my new unit.
