    Agree it should be that way. Unfortunately most curricula are teaching social activism through the guise of history, literature and art.
    Indoctrination doesn't change the nature of the scope of studies. The liberal arts are the opposite side of the coin of the vocational arts. You can be just as indoctrinated in the vocational arts. The communists have done a pretty damn good job of it.

    Things sure have gone downhill since I worked at the Exponent.

    An old friend of mine was editor in the early 80s, when they put out an issue showing some bare feet on the cover, with the word, "Pedophile" below the pic. Seems no one on the staff knew the definition, and when I told him what it really meant, he almost crapped himself!!

    Needless to say, there was an apology in the next issue!!!
