Purple text for sarcasm?

I don't know who came up with this idea, but I've seen it around the net, and around INGO.

Sarcasm is one of the tougher ideas to convey using just text. The and smileys do help somewhat.

Who here likes the idea of using purple text to convey sarcasm?
