I can find no federal law regarding the amount of primers or powder that a private individual can store at his residence but I know that I have been told that the max number of primers is 10,000. As I can also find no state regulations regarding this I assume it is just a rumor. Anyone know for sure?

OK that covers powder. Any restrictions on primers? And does loaded ammo enter into the equation? I realize that since all my ammo sank in the....it is a moot point but just wondered.

I'd imagine that if there were a restriction on ammunition storage, that would be a local jurisdiction thing. As far as I know, there are no restrictions on primers.

I keep mine under my neighbors house.....that way if they come to find, I don't know what powder or primers look like.
Plus if mine catches fire...insurance still pays.

Bad neighbors are everywhere. Did you tunnel for access or just dress up like the phone repairman when you need a coupla thousand?

Nope one day the plumber, next the electrician, next day the landscaper.....of course the hubby's gone when I make an appearance. I get the best of both worlds this way! :D
